another Night remake!

I'm really beginning to get angry about this remake business. TCM, Dawn, Precinct 13, and others. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to remake The Fog, though. I never liked the original. There are rumors about that Evil Dead will be remade.

Day of the Dead remake is reportedly progressing. But to where?

Anywho. This Night remake appears to be an independant effort-independant of both Romero and Russo. Apparently, the story has been changed. Ben is a college student. The farmhouse belongs to the Cooper family. The plot sypnosis mentioned something about avoiding a pyromaniac mortician, portrayed by Sid Haig. Let's call this one Night Of 1000 Corpses and then forget about it.

Yes. It's wonderful, much like Amityville 3D and Friday the 13th Part III. It really makes the viewer feel like he's covered in the bullsh*t, rather than merely seeing it and feeling bored.

Since the Night copyright is seemingly non-existant, why doesn't everyone, including the big studios, make their own versions? I'm of a mind to make a homebrew version that pokes fun at both Romero and Russo. OMG-I recall writing a parody when I was 14. I replaced the living dead with chickens. That's all I [sign in to see URL] than the title: NIGHT OF THE LIVING CHICKENS. Awesome. I must have had a chicken fetish back then because I also now recall making a "comic book" in which the Hulk kills Barney The Purple Dinosaur. That enraged the chicken which, of course, leads to several pages of the Hulk taking a arse-hauling courtesy of the chicken.
