Great ideas. "Hijacker"...one you could where in an airport. emoticon
As for the Titanic Truth Movement tees, well, it's been done in a way. There's two tees on cafepress which have only come about thanks to that maddox guy's parody of loose change recently. However, I won't not do it, because of the $$. Plus, I need work for my graphics portfolio. I'll work on it. emoticon
Truth is I'm pretty broke at the moment, and am just giving this graphics thing my all. Although, I must tell you that I may be joining the ranks of the British Army soon, out of boredom and that search for something more in life. Well, the TA, Territorial Army. To you that's like the reservists or something. A part-time thing. Basically, I'd be able to work during the week with the whole graphics thing, and for a couple of hours or so I'd go on training for the armed forces. Plus, you'll get called away for a week at a time or whatever for full-on training. Then there's service, say in N.I . or one of these warzones, which could see you away from home for upwards of nine months, which is good or bad, depending on how you look at it. I'm all for it though in a way- But still thinking about for a month or so before applying for the medicals and wotnot. Who knows, we'll see.

You must do a graphic of the towers with the words "who gained most?" or "follow the money". I'll think about it a bit.

Are you serious? Interesting idea if you are. I may do just that.

Yeah. I'm serious. I wouldn't wear one, though. But I bet a bunch of people would.

National Guard or Army Reserve is probably closest to what you describe. Several relatives o'mine were Guard members.... until they came home from Iraq. They flatly didn't want to go back and opted out. I hope some other career opportunity becomes available to you before you set boots to desert sand.

Very interesting points there, yet this won't deter me from giving it a go. I'm not one of those types in it for the 'guns 'n guts' but think at this time, it would be good for my confidence and wotnot to have something to do at the moment. Work in my town is poor, unemployment rife, that's why I need something like this. In fact, I'm certain that where I live is near the top of the national unemployed charts or whatever. It also doesn't help that we have a government that has flooded this area with immigrants from Eartern Europe, who we're being told are filling the jobs we don't wont.
[sign in to see URL]... 3m+ unemployed mostly lazy-arse scrounging British citizens.. Add to this, influx of morons from the cities, and we have big-ass problems. Higher unemployment, no jobs, no reasonable jobs for people of certain education. In a couple of words, it sucks. But hey, this is the same everywhere in England at the [sign in to see URL] government I guess.

Yeah, I can be xenophobic, but who isn't. It doesn't mean that I can't get on with these people, it just doesn't seem right that whilst they are provided with luxury of affluence as they come here, the elderly retired, get nothing but !@#$ back. Isn't that a little wrong? It isn't just the immigrants fault that this is happening, mainly it's our chav culture of sponging of the state. Taking and puting back nothing. Trust me, I can like any old immigrant better than a chav. emoticon

Reading through your hate-filled diatribe, I immediately realize that the situation is similar here in America. GWB has said that classic line "they do the jobs Americans don't want", but wait, were we even asked? Of all the immigrant-friendly jobs I've heard of locally, WE WEREN'T ASKED.

A politician says something about enforcing immigration laws and suddenly there are people marching in the streets with Mexican flags. Oh my.

Are we lazy? Somewhat. We're more greedy than lazy, perhaps.

Do those jobs suck that bad? Yes. Maybe no one should apply for those jobs. That would teach the franchise bosses something about the free market, no?

And I also see that continuing education is not being pushed by businesses. Every week the newspaper lists jobs with EXTREMELY specific skill sets. Employers won't promote from within, and college degree programs are becoming so specialized, that I wonder if we're not better off staying at home. Or better yet, what if we stopped CONSUMING?

They want us to dream instead, because it would distract us from the cold ugly truth of our voiceless programmed lives. You could yell about it, but only people in your class would hear you.

The only thing I hate is the word hate.

Hate-filled diatribe? Nah, I aint [sign in to see URL] of these immigrants are hard working folk (poles and Portuguese - nice people), but of course there others who refuse to integrate (religious nuts), find work (asylum seeker), and just cause problems for everyone else. It winds me up that's [sign in to see URL] town I live in isn't the town I remember as boy growing [sign in to see URL] that's it - as a boy. Why oh why do I ramble on. emoticon
We fear, we are afraid of what we don't understand- That saying applies to all sides on this debate.

Damn, I just glad I don't live in a place called the midlands (middle-England to you). There was a show on TV tonight about this issue. There's place called Blackburn - only it's like two towns in [sign in to see URL] white town, and a muslin-asian town. The two groups don't mingle too much you see, for obvious reasons. I should just be thanking god there isn't any divide like that here. We have it good here really, it's just if we continued to be flooded as we seem to be, there will be divide and the same sort of problems. Everytime I talk about this I cannot come to a reasonable conclusion...

We all bleed red? We all go pink on the inside? emoticon

[sign in to see URL], again. The army. I must tell you that I have no wish to fight, but would if i ever had to for whatever reason - as long as ethical. Hope that makes sense. I guess the choice to join up, isn't so much about the lack of work in my home town, but more that I'm seeking to rid myself of a boredom I feel inside. I want something more is all. Not to kill at all, but to be a part of something, and history itself. And if possible you'll be glad to hear I'm considering career options other than combat infantry. You must also take into account that our army is different to yours. Hope this has cleared things up you damn liberal.emoticon

My friend has been in the TA, two years, had full training as hasn't seen action. Problem is, he doesn't want to- or at least doesn't yet. He has a [sign in to see URL] those in the regular army. For him it's like a club or something, you go every week for a couple of hours, train, finish off in the bar with a pint of beer and then get back on with the norm. Tis' the way I see it too. Does that sound that bad to you? Damn you liberals.

I also hate the word hate. And I'm not sure who Ron Paul is.....

I'll say this about the immigrants: we must trust them. But there are so many in the US. Jumping the fences, they are. We don't know them. US policy and it's enforcement in this regard has been rather slack. Now we're looking at a real problem. One thing goes wrong and we could very well participate in a "night of the long knives", wreaking havoc on all of these people in response to the actions of only a few. Properly controlled immigration allows integration into American communities, with appropriate charity, respect and so forth. But I haven't been declared dictator of Atlantica yet.

No wait, I googled Ron Paul. I watched the debate. I remember that he looks like Magneto from the X-Men movies.

What you said about immigration over on your side of the pond is exactly the same as what's happening here. Problem with a lot of these immigrants though is that they lack the basic skills the British educated have. Not all of of course, but those types are the ones that will bring the trouble.

..I can see this thing reaching a tipping point sometime soon - This is the major issue right now, because it is affecting everyone at some level. Problem is, nothing is being done about it, thus its breeding hatred and fear in the wave of a new, 'respectable' type of nationalism.

Ron Paul? [sign in to see URL] how I laughed at that . good one. emoticon

I believe that American politicians are holding the issue at bay for an election at some point in the future. 2010 possibly, unless things get much worse. The 2008 Presidential election should prove to be just another headbutt Iraq war debate. Things could very well get much worse.

Google search Fred Thompson, the "unofficial Republican candidate". Also of Die Hard 2 fame.

One thing that really creeps me out at the moment with all this talk of presidents and wotnot is the fact that Mrs Clinton could take it. That not weird at all to you? The fact that her her husband was president. Doesn't seem almost like monarchy-type rule with certain families taking office-e.g. bush and his son George Jr. Although you guys don't like to admit it your politics reeks of this sort of corruption. Bring on Queen Hilary. You know it's gonna happen. emoticon
Then again, it's happening here to, with a guy who'll you come to here a lot about called David Cameron, an ugly toff, of centuries of inbreeding. And related is aristocracy. This stinks bad. The people need to take back the power.
