28 Weeks Later

28 weeks later, winter had turned to spring had turned to summer, in which virginity and any other semblance of virtue had long since disappeared and Patrick Swayze silently contemplated the other side of the horizon.

[sign in to see URL]. American military in control of London's reconstruction. How post-war! That black fellow, Mercutio, being friendly like a manic-depressive. And the infected are back, and hopefully they are still the coolest non-zombie zombies. Where's Cillian? Where's Danny Boyle? Where's Shawn of the Dead?

I'll give this one a chance, looks interesting. And anything with harold perrineau in is worth a watch. He was in one of my favourite shows 'oz'

Re: 28 Weeks Later

I enjoyed the original film, and, considering how Romero-eskie that film was, I think there's room for this film to be quite interesting. But it's a gamble. The original did rekindle the genre(Resident Evil doesn't count). Aside from Return OTLD, it will be the first of the new generation of films to get a sequel(Resident Evil again doesn't count).

It's rife for subtext, but more prone yet for profit. Which way will it go?

I think I'll place this on my must-see list with Zodiac.
