Oh dear. To think that Romero has always been a kind of underground filmmaker, but give him a few moments in a big film and he's tucking in his package for a full frontal shot. This is how those rumors get started.

You know that Romero really had a cameo in Silence. He was the leering hulk in the cage beside Miggs The Masterbaiter. Likely he was just watching the crew, but it looked like he was in character.

One of the bunch around the elevator scene, perhaps?

Yeah, I especially like how they hired a new Clarice for that one. Grrrrr.

Alex was obviously in the clutch of fever when he wrote this, because he soon succumbed to the bird flu afterward. We now see what happens to people that think the newer Clarice was better. Everyone knows that Julianne Moore is a Russian term meaning "drippy a$$hole". And yeah, I get that Ridley Scott likes to do films that have tough chicks in them, but here she was just tough to digest. Furthermore, the original Clarice seemed to be more of an investigator, a suit that would sit at a tiny desk, than the second film's SWAT team version. More credible, in my opinion.

To further belabor the point, George seemed to approve of the first film. And Anthony Hopkins. And Jodie Foster. And Johnathan Demme.

Jodie Foster looked more delicious, too.

But I digress in arguing with the recently deceased.

This honestly has me worrying a little cause birds are all over place on the coast and around the town where I live. Pigeons, seagulls etc. I'm doomed...
[sign in to see URL] don't believe half of it be honest. I feel sorry for the people living down here who feed up on everything the fearmongering press is selling though. Bird-flu is testicles bassically. Although, they did cull nearlly 200,000 turkeys [sign in to see URL] next week it'll be humans! One of them could be me! emoticon

In other news;From Wiki:
Abaddon is one of the infernal names used in Satanism, and is first in the list—only as it comes first alphabetically—and means "the destroyer."

From Abaddon's Encyclopedia, Volume 1215: "Wiki is a synonym for cack, or, in some circles, refers to a region of [sign in to see URL] that only the coolest people can access. Refer to [sign in to see URL] for additional information."

I can't stress enough that Satanists are evil morons that work from no real source material, like those Microsoft employees that develop MSWord. The Bible's finale, Revelations, identifies Abaddon(look up Rev 9:11!!!) as the destroyer that, along with his army(intriguing description that somewhat describes modern soldiers if you interpret liberally) removes a portion of the Earth's godless peoples.

In retrospect, I once made a list of these cool-looking biblical names for use as user names and passwords in a high school computer class, and Abaddon seems to have stuck. By this time I would think that the infection has subsided, but scarring is inevitable.

Use care, Alex. Wear gloves in public, and so forth. You'll look sophisticated and be safer at the same time.
