Worst movies you've seen?

Surely none can be more worse than the truly shocking 'Graveyard Shift (1987)' (not sk), a film that just has me in stitches every time. I’d sum it up like so; 80's hair rock, vampires, bit of titty, pre-mature ejaculation*, hair spray and the crème’ de' la crème’ of acting cheese.

Being fair, it isn't the worst movie ever, yet many of the films elements have since dated a little, such as a really bad power ballad that plays throughout film - believe me it's horrible. Just watch it for yourself. Trust me, it'll be a good investment even though it isn't supposed to be a comedy emoticon

THE PLOT: Night brings out the hungerin people, especially a mysterious NY cab driver. He is a powerful vampire. And working the night shift brings a sultry array of sensuous passengers within his grasp. Embracing those ready to die, he controls an erratic but well-balanced vampire realm. Then unexpectedly, he discovers erotic human passion-unleashing a raging, terrorizing evil. When a slew of innocent citizens are senselessly slaughtered, the baffled police must solve a 350 year old mystery of unsated passion.

Tagline: Lots of people work the graveyard shift, policemen, waiters, taxi drivers... vampires

*not really emoticon

Although not a horror movie in the true sense of the word, have you ever "experienced" "joe versus the volcano"? i was unlucky enough to sit through this at my local cinima some years ago.A tom hanks vehicle that was so bad i demanded my money back at the end of the screening! To say this movie sucked is the biggest understatement in the history of understatements.

Mere civilians aren't licensed to say bad things about Tom Hanks. Remember that next time, or you'll be in big trouble.

ZOMBIE 4 raises the bar on suckiness. A cast and crew of children would have made a much better film.

HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH. This is actually a 2/4 stars film, but it's merits cannot calm the storm of the hatred that I reserve for this piece of sh*t. In respect to horror fans, the producers should change the title of this film.

COSMOS: WAR OF THE PLANETS. Let me quote my movie guide(which gives the film NO STARS) on this one: "The ultimate battle of survival is fought in outer space, though not very well and on a small budget. Special effects are especially laughable."

PSYCHOMANIA. Such a dumb*ss movie, I've forgotten most of it.

SLASHER(?) IN THE HOUSE. Co-stars the BODY BY JAKE infomercial guy. Possibly filmed on video by a crew of one. This film dawdles between laziness and stupidity. I actually watched this as a comedy.

THE SUCKLING. Low-budget urban horror. Unconsciously gives a glimpse at the slums of an American city. Otherwise, the film has a thin anti-abortion subtext(the aborted fetus mutates into a huge monster and kills most of the folks in one house). Special effects are cheap and mostly funny, but much effort was put forth.

I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE. Admit it: as much as you might like this one, the movie is crap. Crap, sex, sex, sex, sex, crap, crap, sex, crap, crap and the murder of the retarded fellow.

Children of the living Dead deserves a mention - don't you think?

quote:

abaddon's thoughts so many months back:

My thoughts
This film starts with a scene of men shooting zombies in a large field, which I sincerely hope is an homage to Night of the Living Dead. The action islaughable, as establishing shots of several human and zombie characters are omitted. Many overdubs are used to create a sense of chaos in this calamity, but most of them don't refer to anything that is happening. Tom Savini is also hindered by this film's lack of direction. He attempts to fire a single-shot pistol three times and then blows up his own car! Also immediately apparent is extremely poor dialogue. The cinematography only gets worse as the film goes on. The presence of the children is poorly explained in Savini's scenes and no attempt is made to make this clear later. Abbot Hayes is one of many unneccessary distractions in this film. Other useless and incoherent parts of the film include: the car dealership owner and his construction crew, the cemetary, the gravediggers, the kids in the van, the diner, the guy
who throws dynamite, and much of the film's dialogue.

Questions Michael raised on Children of the Living Dead...
How does Abbot Hayes outrun a Volkwagen bus?
Is that guy driving the Volkswagen bus a bad driver or what?
Why were the dead teens' coffins left outside overnight, with their dead bodies inside them?
Why did Abbot Hayes kill 'Sy', who owns the graveyard, when by doing so, the land is sold at auction to the car dealer?
At the end of the movie, why is daylight showing through the blinds in the diner, when it's supposed to be nighttime outside?
Why is that guy throwing dynamite at the zombies in front of the diner, when his friends are fighting them in close quarters?
In the opening sequence, why does a zombie who's already been shot in the head and has fallen attack a guy who's trying to get in the helicopter?
Did anyone notice the pattern of the grass in the graveyard?
Why does Abbot Hayes only follow the zombies around and watch them attack the humans? Is he lazy, stupid, or both?
How come so many characters in the film haven't heard about zombies? emoticon

Holy sh*t. COTLD was so bad that I've forgotten it exists!

Dolemite and sequels. From the blax-ploitation genre comes a truly inept film. Bad sound, terrible photography, and untrained actors. Watch this and enjoy, if you hate honkeys.

Is it time to start a Wall of Shame?

whoa..!@#$, i'm tired. Yet, cannot sleep. insomnia is setting and is clasping me with its cold hands. damn. I'm sitting here listening to local radio, and there's that song that goes "what a feeling," from that benial 80's movie, yet I feel numbed by insomnia. need sleep.

Anyway, you mentioned bad sound or whatever. What about that film Driller Killer - truly a piece of over-hyped shite. I have respect though for the films director, Abel Ferrara - that film he did with harvey keitel is great.

Robocop 3. Though the trilogy boast no great films, the third is easily the worst. It's cheap. It reeks of the sci-fi industry establishment(unless I'm mistaken, the same folks ruined the latest Star Trek television series).

The Dead Hate the Living. Good title, bad film. Directed by Dave Parker, who contributed to the screenplay on House of the Dead. If you watch both films, you'll see that it's obvious as to which three pages of the HOTD script he actually scribbled on.

Halloween: Resurrection. Let it remain dead next time. Jamie Lee Curtis gets bad treatment, then the film morphs into reality television. This is neither original nor scary.

Midnight. John Russo tries to direct a horror film, but perhaps he's not ready. The budget-low. The villians-a family of religous freaks. Their goal-kill, because it will cause something.... John "Martin" Amplas-a member of the cast.
