Scientology: Join The Club Or Get No Money.

What's up with Scientology? Has it driven Tom Cruise insane? Wasn't this religion invented by a sci-fi writer(and not a very good one at that)? If John Travolta does it, isn't it okay for me too? Should we try to develop a vaccine before it's too late? Why do they persecute Xenu? Is Katie Holmes seriously considering this sh*t?

We need to be ready for the day that Tom Cruise tries to seize power!

Wow, scientology. What can I say? er, vulnerable people and hypnotism.

Before I knew about this 'religion' I saw Battlefield Earth, way back in 2001. I liked it. It was good fun, but fiction. When I found out that people actually believed this fiction and that it was more a propaganda film made by Scientologists many years later I turned my back on this idea of it being 'good fun'.

The problem I find with scientology is that it's unlike your average religion. It really damages already f11cked up people.

Anyways, in case you didn't see it, here's a link to 'that' south park episode - trapped in the closet - enjoy. [url][sign in to see URL] Scroll down.

You don't sound like a Clear.

I guess I'll have to read one of the books to see what it's all about. I hope that it won't control my mind..... Mr. Russo, keep the Chinese poster here on the messageboard so I won't forget who I am.

Well, I've seen the Southpark episode. I haven't read the book yet(I'll do it next week).

I think I know what may have ultimately killed the episode. Don't think Tom Cruise is all powerful, thusly able to control all media at his whim. Comedy Central knows they have a cash cow if the show ignites controversy. Sort of how tabloids work. What made them most upset had to be the mention of dead L. Ron Hubbard and his fraudulent second coming. This was probably deemed too insensitive by network execs.

Not too mention R Kelly and his fans.

The poor sh1ts.
