Re: Texas Chainsaw Cash-Grab(a true story!)

It is definitely unusual if a DVD is released containing both an R-rated version and an Un-rated version of a film. There have been different DVD types: some have the film with deleted scenes as extras, while other DVDs have an option of watching the film with the deleted scenes included in their original sequence. The DVD version of the Dawn remake will probably include the R-rated theatrical version with the Un-rated deleted scenes included as extras.

It is common for American stores to ignore the MPAA's ratings. I bought Maniac(which is un-rated) on-line without being asked about my age.

I don't know yet what happens to Ving Rhames. I will try to see the remake next week.

I was just wondering. LAst night I was watching Idols, in the USA called Pop Idol and there was a girl singing a song of Pink. In this song the word F*CK was included. In the USA, would the song be changed to cut out that word?

The word would be changed, deleted, or the song would not be used. Also, I hear that this word will soon be allowed on television. However, there are rules as to how the word can be used. A character will be allowed to say: "Hey, stupid f*cker, give me some f*cking water." The character will NOT be allowed to say: "You are a cute girl; let's f*ck." Basically, the word cannot refer to sex. I'm tired of the censors f*cking with the rules. I have no idea when the rule change will take effect, so I'll keep an eye on my motherf*cking television.

Do you know the movie the Story of Ricky aka Riki-oh? It's a kungfu movie in jail. It's VERY gory and funny. It's about Ricky who is sent to jail because he killed the murderer of his friend. Once he get there a lot of people are against him, but when he fights he can punch right to a person's body, pretty gory. Even a head gets crushed by a man's hands

And one of the most unbelievable scenes. A guy tries to strangle Ricky with his own guts:

About the word f*ck. Here you can use it to a friend without insulted to him. You can say 'f*ck you' to a friend showing him you totally do not agree with him. It only depends on the tone you say it.
I was wondering: which word is according to you more rude: 'sh*t' or 'damn'? Or does is not make any difference?
I think it's the first one, I had to edit my post and cover the 'i' because else the word would be completely covered by *

To Alex: I tried last night. Unfortunately, there was some sort of malfunction and the post wasn't posted. That f*cking sucked.

To Stefan: The Story of Ricky looks like a very interesting B-movie. Recently, I saw a Japanese film called Reborn From Hell: Samurai Armageddon. This movie had a bit of gore, but it was unexpectedly funny as well. There was a male character that had foresaken women in order to master the spear. The evil warlord finally tempts this man by offering him a beautiful naked woman. The spear-master has sex with the woman, and before he finishes, he begs the warlord to kill him in his happiest moment. The warlord tries to assemble a small band of undead martial arts masters, but inevitably he fails. The special effects were badly done but very gory. The last fight sequence of the film features a decapitation-I have rarely laughed so much as I did when I saw this.

It is possible that the Story of Ricky was released in America under another name. Can you list some of the film's credits?

About the profane words: In my experience, sh*t and damn can be equally rude. As you wrote, the tone of these words makes a big f*cking difference.
