posticon 28 days later

Hello people,

That movie 28 days later... I live in Holland and nobody of us has already heard a damn thing about that movie! Where is it? I heard in some countries it has been released on dvd. And I've didn't seen a commercial or something of this movie was in theatre yet. I wonder where it stays. Maybe it was too gory to show it here.
I'm also very curious how this movie will turn out to me. I'm hoping for headshots and splatters...

Stefan

I know of 28 days it opens this weekend in US theaters. Im going to try to see it this weekend. Hopefully it will make it to your country even though they might butcher the hell out of it. I don't know much about the details I just know the zombies are fast moving and they are the result of some virus.

I believe 28 Days Later has been available in England for over a year now, I've been meaning to pick me up one of those DVD's.

And it's playing here in the state's now, but unfortunately like every other horror movie, it is not being playing anywhere around me, so this is yet another movie that I won't get to see at the theater's. bummer...

I had downloaded the movie and watched it a year ago, when it came out in the UK. Unfortunatly the quality was shyte but from what I could make out, this movie was awesome.

Finally it's here and last night I caught it with my bro and his gal, we all loved it. My brothers girlfriend was stoned out of her tree and felt like she was on a little trip with these characters where there are no rules, just chaos. I loved the mix of Dawn in the first half and Day in the last half. I'm sure that any fan of Romero's dead trilogy will either appreciate or go nuts for this movie. emoticon

Well, I'm very curious.
About those rage-freaks, is it essential to shot them in the head, the same way to kill a zombie.
And how do people survive? Because in dawn and day people can suvrive by running because the zombies are slow but in 28 days later they're running fast, so it's impossible to escape, right?
Hope I get a replie
Later,
Stefan

With the "Rage" infected they'll keep coming at you even if you shoot em or set em on fire. It's like they're on PCP or something, if you wanna take them out quick you best shoot em in the brain or the heart.

The only way survivors can make it is by creating blockades so they can't get in wherever they would be squatting. If a bunch of them are chasing you you're pretty well fucked if you don't find somewhere fast to baracade yourself in and hide. Noise seems to give them a splitting headache so you have to be quiet or they will hear you and tear you apart.

Thanks for your answer.
Are those deaths by those rage freaks to human as gory as in day of the dead? Do they pull out your guts and bite fingers off and stuff like that? I hope so!

Unfortunatly not. The camera work when someone gets attacked goes nuts. It starts moving all over the place while it's close up to what's going on. It kind of makes it hard to see what's happening in the frame. Just looks like they are beating the crap out of the person then puking blood all over em.

Is 28 days later X rated or R rated?

28 days is R rated.

It was refreshing to finally see a serious and dark horror film on screen. When I was old enough to go see and R rated film all the horror movies that were out at the time had jumped on the scream teen-movie bandwagon. They did go overboard with the violent camera action but, thats the only thing I didn't like about it.
