Zombie gore

Hello,

Can you tell me something about the movie:

- Night of the zombies

- Zombie holocaust

- Zombie lake

Good films or trash?

Re: Zombie gore

Night of the Zombies shamelessly rips off all the best zombie films ever made. However, this doesn't bother me because its like watching a generic version of all the best zombie films in one movie! It uses the same Golbin soundtrack from Dawn and the zombie plaque starts with a bite from a radio active rat. It should be apprectiated for the cheezy/gorefest that it is. You should watch it and, depending on your sense of humor it should provide a good laugh.

The problem is with all those "backyard"- zombiefilms they aren't available here in Holland, not for sale, not for rent but I'll keep looking.

Re: Night of the Zombies

I have also seen this movie. Thinking back on it, it really pisses me off. Goblin's Dawn score is used a lot in it. I was surprised to see SWAT uniforms identical to Peter and Roger's. When I originally watched the film, I thought I was watching a really bad version of the Dawn of the Dead. I was. The film proceeds to add voodoo(?) to the situation and sinks into little more than nature documentary footage. The end of the film rips off Night of the Living Dead in a big way. A guy is on the tv news talking about a cadaver, with neither arms nor legs, which is begins to move around. Maybe this film should be considered the Unoffical Dawn of the Dead Remake.

Thanks for your replie. Night of the zombie, the name sucks! But I'm very curious how this movie will be, here is a list of other zombie-movies. If you've seen them, please, place your replie with your opinion about it, is it very gory and how is the acting etc.:

- Zombie lake

- Zombie holocaust

- Them damn zombies

- Children of the living dead

- Return of the living dead

- City of the walking dead

- I was a teenage zombie

- I, Zombie

- Re-Animator

- Them damn zombies

- Zombie nightmare

- Revange of the living zombies

- Revange of the zombie

- The dead hate the living

- Redneck zombies

Well, I hope for your replies

Re: Zombie gore

That's weird, I own Night of the Zombies and it was nothing like what has been described in the previous posts. I picked it up at a garage sale for a buck and thought I'd give it a try, but it wasn't worth the life I wasted watching the piece of poo.

It's about some James Bond wannabe, cool cat type of guy who looks like a dork but everyone thinks is cool. He goes up into the mountains to investigate some murders and finds out that natzi zombies are killing people. The whole stupid thing is that the zombies are humans in the day and turn into zombie natzis at night if they don't inhale some kind of military gas.

This picture below is the flick that I'm talking about. Maybe you're thinking of Hell of the Living Dead (which I haven't seen). I remember hearing something that it was called Night of the Zombies in some parts of the world.

Re: The Other Night of the Zombies(by Ken Weiderhorn)

Yes, I actually own the Night of the Zombies film which relates to World War II soldiers and 'the gas'. The main character isn't James Bond-it's Nick. As shitty as Nick seems, isn't he truly representative of most government employees?
I bought this film from a video store for two bucks. I noticed on the label(on the side of the cassette with the two windows) the Roman numeral 'II' was covered with white-out. What's up with that? Was the film company to cheap to print labels with the film's correct name on it?
Did you notice that when Nick infiltrates the Nazis' camp, the skeletons look really fake? I swore I could see the lines that where made when the plastic skulls were originally molded.
THIS MOVIE SUCKS. Nick. Nick sucks.

Wait a sec! I think I know which movie you are talking about. Is it with a lake where naked women are swimming in? Then it must be zombie lake. I've didn't seen it yet.

OMFG I can't believe you remember that loosers name in that crappy movie. emoticon

I don't know why they covered up the "2" on the side of the box, because in the opening credits of the movie it says "Night of the Zombies 2". They never made a first one so I guess some white out on the box was the best thing they could come up with to cover up such a stupid mistake. Those skeletons were such a joke! All the zombies are bones in the end scene and as the camera zooms up to the plastic, white skull, you see the slice around the cranium where the Junior High science teacher would remove the skull cap.

I have never felt so tortured watching a movie as I did Night of the Zombies.

Re: Zombie gore

Do you know what I think?
I think, look, there exist a lot of "backyard" zombie movies. I've mention a lot of them in the list above. I think the video makers, that's how I call them, just don't see the difference between those films. You can compare it with dawn and day. The called dawn dawn because it was the next episode of night and day because this comes after dawn. But you can't see in the movie why dawn or day. If the called dawn day it would't make any difference. This is also with a lot of other zombie movies, it doesn't matter how you call them, those backyard zombie films, they are all about the same thing
